For kitchens · Bengaluru

Tonight’s unsold food earns you nothing.

You paid for the ingredients. You paid the gas bill, and the hours, and the wages. Then at closing it goes in the bin and takes all of that with it. Morsel turns what is left into a Surprise Bag, sold and collected and paid for, tonight.

  • Every number in writing before you sign anything.
  • You decide how many bags, and on which days.
  • No new equipment. No delivery riders. No tie in.

Your bin has a price tag. See yours →

For your kitchen

Why kitchens choose Morsel.

Morsel helps you earn from food you cooked but did not sell. Each Surprise Bag brings in extra money and new customers, and less good food goes to waste. You stay in control. You choose what to sell, and when. Your name is on every bag, just like on your menu board. This is good food saved, not scraps. Turn today’s extra food into tomorrow’s regular customers.

Questions owners ask

Every kitchen owner asks us the same things. They are fair questions, so here are honest answers.

  1. Will it hurt my full-price sales?

No. You list only what is really left, only at closing, and only as much as you want. The bag may not be there every night. So no one can plan their dinner around it, and no one stops paying full price to wait for it. And you never cook one extra plate. If nothing is left, there is nothing to list.

  2. Who keeps the food safe?

You and Morsel both play a part. Morsel sets simple rules and handles any customer complaints. Your kitchen packs the food, so keeping it fresh stays with you, just like it already does for everything you sell. That means only food cooked fresh that day. No old food. Nothing from a plate, a buffet, or a table. Veg and non-veg go in different bags. Chicken, mutton and fish never share a bag. Every bag is sealed and marked with the time it was packed.

  3. What does it cost me?

A small fee, and we tell you about it first. No hidden charges. The exact amount depends on how your kitchen runs, so we would rather sit with you and explain it than have you read it off a screen. You will have every number in writing before you sign anything.

What it takes

About a minute, at closing.

No new equipment. No tablet on your counter. No delivery riders in your doorway. Your staff already do the hardest part. They know what is left.

At closing

Say what's left

Two taps on a phone: how many bags, and veg or non-veg. Whoever is closing up can do it while the shutters come down.

Within minutes

Someone reserves it

People nearby are already waiting for exactly this. They pay upfront, so the bag is sold before anyone walks in.

Before you lock up

They collect it

They show up in your pickup window, take the bag, and go. No delivery, no riders, no change of any kind to how your kitchen runs.

Still wondering

The practical questions.

How much of the money do I keep?

Nearly all of it. There is a small fee for using Morsel, and we walk you through the exact numbers when we meet, so you have them in writing before you sign anything. They depend on how your kitchen runs: the size of your bags, how many you list, how often they sell. A single figure here would only mislead you.

What happens if nobody buys the bag?

Then the food stays yours, exactly as it would have been before Morsel. Nothing about your evening changes. Some nights every bag goes in minutes and some nights one does not. That is the nature of surplus, and the platform is built around it.

Do I have to cook anything extra?

No, and we would rather you did not. The whole model depends on the food already existing. A Surprise Bag is only ever what your kitchen genuinely has left.

Can I choose which days I do this?

Yes. Some kitchens list every night, some only on quiet days, some only when a large order gets cancelled. You decide each evening, and you can decide not to.

Who handles the customer if something is wrong?

We do. Complaints, refunds and the awkward conversations come to us, not to your counter.

When can I start?

We are signing up kitchens in Koramangala and HSR Layout now. Tell us about yours and we will get in touch soon.
